I watched this little storm cell move very quickly across the Salt Lake area Had a great vantage point up high I am pretty sure it was dropping snow because of how cold it was out This is an HDR Photo but I have a few others I ll post later on this cell which at one point almost looks like a tornado

This evening looking down river We have storms moving in It is now 8 34 pm tonight and we have Tornado Sirens going off the weather reporters have been busy over much of the state mostly south of us and to the west with Tornado Warnings guess its now our turn it is still a ways from us

After a snowy start this morning it made it to 40 degrees We are back on track for spring

About an hour later the sky was in turmoil Then it cleared out at lunchtime and we had beautiful blue skies

Here it s nearly overhead Taken at 10 22am After it passed over which it did quickly on the far horizon there were lowerings and small needle funnels quickly formed and dissipated Fascinating to watch One was squiggly like a snake By the way all of these had to be boosted for contrast
